Leave the Store
Some basic but crucial advice I read today:
“I will never spend over $100 on an item without leaving the store and giving myself 48 hours to consider whether I really need that item.” — David Bach
Genius. Leaving the store and actually thinking about something rather than getting caught up in retail fever and forking out hard-earned money for some overpriced rag. If I stopped and actually thought about how many hours’ work I had done to afford that one item, I’d probably keep my wallet in my handbag.
