May 29th, 2007 at 6:26 pmCongrats on coming out! I’m too open about my money/expenses/income to give away my true identity. I sound like a horrible 90s movie that has about 4 sequels.
May 29th, 2007 at 11:50 pmThanks Pearl. This blog was originally Blogspot but I moved house. It wasn’t too hard.
SavingDiva - that makes sense if you are sharing personal information. I try not to get too personal, especially now my name’s up there. One thing I have learned from years of blogging is you just never know who might be reading!
May 30th, 2007 at 10:49 amGood on you for coming out with your name. It doesn’t really make any difference to your content, but it definately gives you more credibility, and as you said yo SavingDiva, you shouldn’t get too personal anyway…. just keep writing good content.
May 30th, 2007 at 11:43 amThanks Steve. Yeah, I had credibility in mind when I did it. I didn’t want people to think I was hiding. But that doesn’t mean I’ll start writing about secret crushes or favorite colors. Plenty of other sites for that!
May 30th, 2007 at 12:52 pmI enjoy your writing style and that little bit of sassy-ness you exude Shona. I hope you find great success.
I do applaud you for presenting your picture as well as some details about yourself! One of my pet peeves is discovering a blog where the identity of the writer is completely hidden. I tend to lose interst fast!
June 9th, 2007 at 7:15 pmDo’h. I actually thought you wrote about cats when we met and we exchanged cards. Now I feel real silly. I should’ve really spent more time chatting to you. Now I just gotta go hide. Heh.
June 11th, 2007 at 12:41 amHi Shai,
That’s understandable. I could’ve made things clearer on my card and it did have a big picture of a cat on it! No need to hide. And actually I am planning a cat post today…
June 11th, 2007 at 7:47 amHi Shona,
Found my way to your blog by way of Jon’s ArtofMoney.org. You have an interesting blog here that I enjoy reading, so I thought I’d let you know.
BTW, can you tell me the name of the plugin you use for the Anti-spam word thingy? I need to get rid of all those Viagra and Cialis distributors who keep coming back to my blog. Yeah, some of them get through even after I installed Akismet. *sigh*
July 1st, 2007 at 9:08 pmThanks Hock.
It’s called Peter’s Custom Anti-Spam. Works a treat.
July 1st, 2007 at 9:44 pmhey - I remember now I was the first one to comment on your about page
your site is really beautiful with color scheme, design as well as content Shona… well, I am still not comfortable going with too much of personal info! may be in time…
And I really like the bulleted list here…
July 16th, 2007 at 9:35 pmJust had to add you to my blogroll.
August 10th, 2007 at 8:03 amYou really write well.
Your husband/boyfriend must be proud of you
I find your site via proBlogger’s 113 must read blogging tips.
October 7th, 2007 at 2:40 pmIn general, I like your blogging style but one thing I keep in my mind. Why don’t you use the 2-column theme? It is a waste for the white space in front of very post.
Hi Shona
Isnt it time you updated this page and showed the world that you have grown up?
I mean it still says 29, but i read about you turning 30, and it is sad when peole stay 29 for years…
Otherwise a great blog, found it via one mans goals Ebook
Good luck wiht it!
February 20th, 2008 at 1:56 amThanks Hypnose, I’m glad you like my blog.
Very well, I have updated my age! It wasn’t easy, I was still pretending to be 29.
