I picked the name because it vaguely fits my off-line persona. I hate doing repetitive tasks and instead focus on things that benefit me over time. So instead of making my bed every morning, I'd rather learn something new online. To the average onlooker (and my soon to be wife) this is just plain lazy. Ironically, with my blog, I'm a crazy nut doing a thousand things at once. It appears to everyone reading my blog that I'm not at all lazy. “Why is he lazy?” – You sound like my fiancée ;-) .
