Make Your Comments Count

I am not a hippy (I drink Starbucks, for heaven’s sake) but I have joined the growing Do Follow revolution. It’s a bloggers’ movement where you add a new tag to your blog so the comments left on posts will be be recognized by search engines. It shows your commentators you appreciate them.

Vive la Revolucion!

May 19th, 2007 at 3:50 pmEven though I’ve said it a hundred times, I love the DoFollow movement! It really does encourage more interaction and I hope that more blogs will follow in the future. There is already a huge list of DoFollow blogs and I’m sure it’ll grow even larger in time.
By the way, I love your template - it looks great!

Yeah the DoFollow thing is great. Apparently it doesn’t affect spam filters so I can’t see a reason not to do it. It only took me a few minutes to add the plug-in, and it works - I commented on someone’s DoFollow blog and it counts in Technorati.
May 20th, 2007 at 8:59 amI’ve joined up with the NoFollow Movement. What I’m worried about is people gaming it. But I think the benefit outweighs the risk.
