Affiliate Links: The Sublime and The Ridiculous
First, The Ridiculous
A while ago Problogger mentioned his Amazon affiliate links were starting to pay off. He’d dropped so many into his posts over the years that they had become somewhat of a resource and a nifty little side earner for him.
This compelled me to check my own Amazon affiliate stats. I’ve been pasting links from Amazon into my web posts since 2002. That’s five years. Wanna know how much I’ve made so far?

I laughed out loud when I saw that. Then I cried a little.
If you glance over to the right sidebar and scroll down you can see some books I recommend at the moment. The links are in there. Just so you know. I’d love to make $10 before the decade’s out.
But The Silver Lining Is…
On the upside, I’ve had more success with my Friendfinder affiliate signup. People have signed up for the popular dating website through my link and every time they spend money updating their membership, I make a commission. Over the years I’ve made several thousand dollars with little effort. It’s the link that keeps on giving.
You can join Friendfinder as a customer, or as an affiliate. Just so you know.
What affiliate programs have you tried, and what works? Anything that can beat my Amazon earnings (in terms of tragic)?
