		<description>I agree completely with you that waiting in line for a phone is a complete and utter waste of time.  However if you are smart like Robet Scoble you wait in line where it will give you an opportunity to work as well. Which is what he is doing, he blogs about technology so I guess for him this is just another day on the job.

The rest however do not have that excuse so I guess it is the &quot;community&quot; that arises while waiting in line for something whether it is for a Harry Potter book, iPhone or even a Star Wars movie.

By the way Robert Scoble lives in Half Moon Bay so he is pretty close to where you are now so it may be a good idea to network with him. You never know what may come of it.</description>
