Titles: Putting The ‘Fun’ Back in Personal Finance
This week’s Carnival of Personal Finance has a minimalist theme, thank goodness.
The carnival is mushrooming by the week and this time there are 78 articles. I don’t have time to read them all, so I scan the list and click on the titles that interest me the most.
So my picks below from the list are based purely on the most eye-catching titles, related to my interests. I’m sure there are great articles buried under more ordinary titles. But in a crowded market, titles are everything.
- This Is The Way The World Ends @ Frugal Zeitgeist (gloomy literary allusion intrigued me enough to click)
- How to Get Free & Discounted Movie Tickets @ Saving Advice (had me at ‘movie tickets’)
- Rich Dad gives lousy advice @ The Dough Roller (criticism of popular brand always interesting)
- $8000 Cash in a Shoebox @ Make Your Nut (cash envy and silly use of money made me click)
- “You Suck, Girl!†@ Ask Uncle Bill (of course, I wanted to know why I sucked)
