I know I’m late to the envy-party here, but… gosh darn it, that grouchy, fuzzy, pouty cat is so cute. It’s not my fault! The kitty made me do it!

But on a more relevant note, I do suffer from blog envy from time to time. I don’t eyeball the “super stars” of blogging so much, but the blogs that seem to be relatively new and are still doing way better. I try to deal with it by figuring out how my own blog can be better, and what I can do to promote it… that kind of thing.

Rich minx, I feel your pain. I’ve been looking at other people’s blogs over the weekend and by last night I felt like the chubby kid who isn’t picked for a team in sports practice (nothing against chubby kids, I was one myself and I still like to pack a few pounds occasionally). I think your post will have struck a chord with many a green-eyed blogger. I think I’ll just go and make up some comments for my own posts now… how about “What hilarity, wit, intelligence! Kate must truly be overwhelmingly beautiful and lithe to have come up with this!” Too much do you think?

I suffer from this too. I look at several less established blogs who are monetizing better and think, ‘how can I be like them?’ I try not to think about it too much, I just try to create a buzz or two here and there
