Things I Learned On The Interweb This Week

  • Since I went away, my beloved country has banned satire in Parliament, a lame act picked up by The Daily Show which then proceeded to take the p***, as we say here. Oh, the mirth. Oh, the shame.
  • Chris at StartupOrBust is taking part in the Blogathon to raise money for the homeless. He’s blogging for 24 hours straight and posting lots of interesting interviews with entrepreneurs. He’s also got a LiveCam and chat, so drop by to say hi if it’s still July 28 when you read this!
  • Don’t dismiss dimes: they can be worth $1.9 million.
  • Shoemoney sold AuctionAds for probably gazillions. Now that’s making money online!
  • New Zealand internet is slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooower than a crippled tortoise delivering bricks in the eighteenth century.
  • Daily Blog Tips helped explain all that confounding SEO jargon like ‘Google bowling’.
