I would say so. I only read the first page of comments over on DP and it seemed the overal reaction was ‘wow, cool!’ That scares me. I do business with these people!

This is the saddest thing I have seen online in a while. I mean, I am not against tattoos at all, as I have four of them myself, but what could possibly possess you to do this? It has taken me at least 3 years to decide on the design of each of my tattoos, and I made sure to pick things that weren’t transient or too commercial, because tattoos are forever! Did this guy do it on a dare maybe? Because I can’t see what the point is at all.

I think that is one of the worst ways to spend your money that I have heard in a long time. As you stated the Internet is a fickle beast and doing this is a cry for help on some level. I have no tats myself and have never considered getting one either, it is just not for me.

So no way for me. Also I just love those that get Chinese symbols tattooed on themselves only later to find out that their tattoo means massive bowel movement or something. Always be careful of what you place on your body as you are judged by others for it.

It might be the internet equivalent to tattooing your lover’s name on your arm – a total jinx. Not to mention, sad.

I wouldn’t do it, though I must say I’d love a reader to get a “Gospel According To Rhys” tattoo

Plus, my skin is terrible for tattoos.
