I guess it all depends on how you measure success. there are many “metrics” to success and for me I measure part of my success by the amount of money I earn from my blogs. I say blogs becuause like you I run multiple blogs, some way more successful then others, and hope to expand my blogging empire. Yep I want to be an Emperor. Who knew? I know I have no French blood in my veins but I am a fan of Italy so I guess that is where it comes from. Anyways write because you love to write and pick a subject you love to write about. For may it is obviously themselves but I guess many bloggers have a love/hate relationship with themselves which is why the sporadic postings.

Ling, that’s a good point although the question then is: why have a blog? Why not just type up your thoughts in Word?

I like the part about the debauchery and coke and hedonism, but the rest of it is greek. Besides, who cares a darn about whether or not you have any visitors? Me, I write because I love to write. I spend more time reading my own posts than I spend writing ‘em.
