I'm still here, EC! Just experiencing some Wordpress issues which are preventing me from posting. Will sort it out this weekend and be back on air soon.

In the meantime, please view my smoke signals which are being transmitted in an easterly direction.

Well i do agree somewhat that many people are burned out on ebooks that is not the case for all consumers there is some niches that are still eager to have some sort of consolidated information and an ebook is just the ticket. Just my two cents of course.

Well I do agree a bit that some poeple are getting burned out on ebooks, especially the make money online sort, they are not burned out in all niche areas. There are some niches where the consumer is not always connected to the Internet and it helps to have a ready source of information that they can pull up at anytime. This is just some of the benefits of ebooks and it sure makes it easier then sifting through a bunch of blogs to find the information you really need.

Shona I really liked this post it was irreverent and cynical which is a refreshing outlook that is needed on the web.

I have actually published several ebooks in the past and found them to be a decent way to earn money online. Like you, I didn't make a fortune, but it was good experience. I quit writing them because personally, I think people are kind of burnt out on ebooks, and a lot of people are beginning to realize that you can get the same information from bloggers for free.

Writing an eBook is good for the readers, because they can have all info in one place, structured, thus easier to find. I'm also writing an ebook now and I hope my readers will enjoy it.

lol@Rhys.

Amusing post. I'm not a fan of ebooks myself... I'd rather leaf through pages than scroll through a free copy of Adobe Reader.
